Waldo is a neighborhood marked by change and transition—people moving in and out, businesses opening and closing. In the midst of all that movement, we believe the church is called to be something different: a place that is rooted. A steady, reliable place where people can encounter the living God in worship, find lasting relationships in community and contribute to what God is up to in the world on mission. This is why we are putting down roots at 8107 Holmes—to be here for the long haul, faithfully present in Waldo.

Money Breakdown

Rooted in Waldo is our two-year effort to raise $800,000. These funds will support the ongoing life of our church—covering two years of ministry expenses, putting a down payment on the facility at 8107 Holmes, and beginning to pay down the mortgage. A portion will also go toward community impact and future church planting efforts. Every dollar given is an investment in creating a rooted, faithful presence in Waldo for years to come.

TWO Years of Ministry Expenses 500,000

Kids’ city

Through leadership, relationships, and curriculum, we provide a safe atmosphere for kids to learn about Jesus, and to partner with parents as they guide their children in faith outside of our walls.

Creative Arts

Through creative use of the arts and technology, many people have been drawn into a deeper relationship with the God who loves them. Our music, tech, lights, video, and other aspects of the weekend services are powerful tools that help people find their way back to God.

Community Life

Through shared rhythms, honest conversations, and life-on-life relationships, our small groups create environments where God’s Spirit transforms our character and activates our calling.

Guest Services

Whether making coffee, preparing communion, or greeting at the door, our Guest Services team offers incredible hospitality and intentional presence so that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen and cared for.
